Sun Garden Acres is a small neighborhood just off the Sierra Freeway on the south side of Fresno State. The close proximity to campus, combined with the affordable rental rates for houses and apartments, makes it an excellent location for college students; however, the community is almost entirely residential and free of many college-town trappings, resulting in a fairly quiet suburban environment that may appeal to anyone seeking a low-key atmosphere.
