Southpointe is located about three miles southwest of Downtown Fargo. Located a few miles from the Red River, Southpoint is surrounded by natural beauty. Southpointe offers several parks and the Milwaukee Trail runs through the community as well. There are also several larger natural areas located on the outskirts of the neighborhood like Lions Conservancy Park, a peaceful riverfront green space. Golfers will appreciate living in Southpoint since the neighborhood is convenient to several golf courses, including Rose Creek Golf Course, Prairiewood Golf Course, and Fargo Country Club. Rentals in this suburban neighborhood are affordable, ranging from single-family houses to mid-rise apartments.
Several businesses, shops, and restaurants can be found throughout Southpointe, especially along 32nd Avenue. Residents also flock to Downtown Fargo (which is only five miles away) for more shopping, dining, and entertainment options. The neighborhood is also convenient to Minnesota State University Moorhead and North Dakota State University.
