Residents of Santee enjoy easy access to several great public green spaces, particularly Kelley Park, Emma Prusch Farm Park, and William Street Park. Parents have a wide selection of public and private schools to pick from, often close enough for students to walk to class.
The area is full of international restaurants and grocers, particularly around the Vietnam Town shopping center just off the northwest corner of the neighborhood. It’s an excellent location for anyone who likes to watch or play sports, whether you want to Ice skate or watch the Sharks practice at Solar4America Ice, play disc golf at Kelley Park, or catch a minor league baseball game at San Jose Municipal Stadium.
