Round Lake Beach is a suburban community in the far north of Illinois, practically within sight of the Wisconsin state line. The namesake Round Lake is just one of dozens of small lakes surrounding the city, making it a great location for folks who love boating, fishing, and watersports. Small shops, restaurants, and neighborhood bars are scattered throughout the town, with the largest being Rollins Crossing on the east side. Metra’s North Central Service will get you to Chicago’s Union station in about ninety minutes, allowing you to get into town for work or leisure without having to drive.
