Point Breeze North is a small neighborhood in eastern Pittsburgh, roughly twenty minutes from Downtown. Westinghouse Park forms the centerpiece of the neighborhood, a gorgeous public greenspace full of trails, playgrounds, and lush foliage. The neighborhood is home to numerous non-profit organizations, from the academic outreach-based Crossroads Foundation to the artist-focused Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse to the East End Food Co-op. Several local facilities support the artistic community, particularly the Helen S. Faison Arts Academy and The Mine Factory gallery space.
