Although Pleasant Valley is known for its impressive upscale houses, there are more affordable rental options available in the neighborhood as well. Since Pleasant Valley is near the Arkansas River locals enjoy spending time out on the water kayaking or canoeing at riverfront parks like River Mountain which is also great for biking and hiking. Pleasant Valley is predominately residential, but residents have easy access to plenty of amenities in nearby communities like Downtown Little Rock, which is only about a 20-minute drive away, giving easy access to some of the city’s best restaurants, bars, museums, and more.
