Columbia Basin College has served the workforce training and higher education needs of the Tri-Cities region since first holding classes in 1955. Programs at CBC include one-year certificates and basic skills for those pursuing a GED or high school diploma, two-year associate degrees for transfer to a four-year university, and applied degrees for workforce employment. Continuing to meet the community’s needs, CBC now offers several bachelor’s degree programs as well.

The Tri-Cities area offers plenty of annual community festivals and events in addition to parks, museums, and historical attractions. Portland and Seattle are each a three hours’ drive away from CBC too.
