Containing a diverse range of top-rated academic programs, IUB is considered a Public Ivy and demonstrates the American ideal of educational opportunity. IUB is the home of the Hoosiers and a part of the Big Ten Conference.
First-year undergraduate students are required to live on campus, which is known for its historic architecture and award-winning beauty. There are plenty of options for off-campus housing near IUB as well. The League of American Bicyclists ranked Bloomington a gold-rated bicycle-friendly community and IUB hosts the Little 500 bike race every year, so be sure to bring your bike to Bloomington with you.
There is always something new to see, do, and experience around IUB. As a Hoosier, you can tour the on-campus Arboretum, catch a free musical performance at the MAC, unwind at the Indiana Memorial Union, and head to Downtown Bloomington for the variety of restaurants and nightlife.
