Founded as a community college in 1952, St. John’s River College has grown into an important member of Central Florida’s academic community. The main campus in Palatka serves as the home base for a system that includes facilities in Orange Park and St. Augustine. The Palatka campus is also home to the Florida School of the Arts, one of the state’s most prestigious institutions for creative development.
