Northwest Side - San Antonio, TX

The history of San Antonio dates back to the early 1700s, and as with most neighborhoods within the city, the Northwest Side saw early development by settlers in the region. HEB, Costco, Sam's Club and Woodstone Grocery & Deli are good choices for fulfilling everyday shopping needs, while specialty grocers such as Himalayan Bazaar cater to those with specific grocery needs. To find freshly picked produce from local farmers, make the short drive east to the Legacy Farmers' Market on Highway 281N. At this compact market, you can find items ranging from locally produced honey to organic dog treats.
