Located about four miles east of Downtown San Diego, Mountain View earned its name because of its clear views of San Miguel Mountain. The neighborhood has a relaxed vibe, a strong sense of community, and plenty of parks. Residents gather at the Mountain View Community Center to shoot hoops or spend time outdoors at the adjacent Mountain View Park.
