Morgan park is ok... It really depends on what part of Morgan park you live in.Up hill towards western is pretty nice diverse black and white families but once you go down hill from Vincennes Ave to Halsted St it's a completely different Morgan park a lot of gangs,shootings/murders,robberies etc. That part of Morgan park is east Morgan park and i wouldn't raise my family on that side of Morgan park knowing what I know about that area but that area. Like I said Morgan park is a ok... area just really depends on what side of Morgan park you live in.For raising families I suggest the Morgan park up hill towards Western Ave or California which is west Morgan park I would avoid finding homes down hill towards Vincennes Ave or Halsted ST which is east Morgan park.

Very diverse neighborhood. Still lively and continues to develop and flourish. Great location in relations to schools, downtown Chicago, and other neighborhoods.

Overall it's mostly a quiet neigborhood since most of the residents are elderly. What brings the score down is the terrible condiions of the roads.

I love the family-friendly street I live on and the commitment to bettering the neighborhood. I would like to see our Alderwoman put more money into fixing the streets and sidewalks at our local parks. There is a peacefulness here that the media never speaks about when covering the south side of Chicago.
