Houses are nice, but the materials to construct it is poor in quality. Houses are on top of each other, property is about 5,000 to 6,500 Sq./Ft is the average lot size. HOA fee for things we do not use and things that they have an overkill of (Recreation Center and Swimming Pool). They do this because unless you have a rarity in a large lot, you can't build a swimming pool of decent size. Traffic is the most horrible concern in this community; it takes an average of 15 minutes just to get out and onto the freeway. I'm glad we were just renting and was able to move and purchase a house on the windward side. Schools are newer so they seem nice, but the student to teacher ratio is high. It's a good starter place for a new young family, but not to settle down to. A good trick is to live in the area for a year then decide if it's a place for you. We gave it four years and it got progressively worse.

The neighborhood is fantastic, and I can genuinely see myself settling down here one day. It has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with tree-lined streets and well-maintained parks that make it a great place for families. The community is very family-friendly, with excellent schools nearby, safe streets for kids to play, and plenty of activities for all ages. It's the kind of place where you feel a sense of belonging, and I love how everyone looks out for each other. It's definitely a place I could picture raising a family in the future."

Mililani Mauka is a quaint town with a desirable central location on Oahu. There is a wide variety of food options to chose from here. With its central location it is about 30 minutes to downtown Honolulu and about 30 minutes to the beautiful North Shore beaches as well.

Safe place to raise kids and start a family. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. Mililani Ike is great public school, and it feels like the mainland versus being in Hawaii.
