The overall sense of safety in this area is poor. There have been vehicle break ins as well as squatters living in an abandoned building across the street. I am not comfortable letting my kids go outside to play. The biggest concern I have is regarding the abandoned building / empty lot across the street from my residence. The police are rarely visible in my community, meaning I rarely see them. If they are called they get here quick enough though.
