We lived in Lents for 8 years now. We had one incident in 8 years with bikes getting stolen but that was more us being stupid and leaving them in the front of our house. We occasionally get Hobos that will come on the property and check out our recycle but again if we put those away that would likely eliminate that problem. You hear gun shots sometimes but I don't believe it's related to anyone in the neighborhood. Bottom line we feel safe walking around day or night. House has never been broken into. Neighbors are awesome and chill. Lots of families with children now. New homes are being built and remodeled. We purchased our home new build for 300k in 2015 it's now valued over 500k. Lots access to good restaurants, food carts , home improvement stores, Clackamas mall, car repair. Other than the Hobos that camp off the freeway exit off Foster it's pretty chill.

Some of the neighborhoods need better lights and sidewalks. Can be dangerous to walk home at night after work.

I live off on 92nd Ave near the Springwater Trail. I chose this house because it was so close the the Springwater Trail and I love biking and going on walks. However, now the trail is inhabited by a large number of homeless people and I no longer go on the trail or allow my child to go near it. There is a lot of crime and theft in my neighborhood. The neighborhood has gotten better with the added Pickles Baseball team, a great summer activity. There is a lot of building and improvement happening right now that I hope improves the area.
