Fittingly, Lavaca neighbors Hemisfair Park, a dynamic green space that is home to some of the Alamo City’s biggest attractions. Hemisfair Park houses government offices, the Alamodome, the Henry B. González Convention Center, the Institute of Texan Cultures, and the Tower of the America’s, a 750-feet revolving observation deck.
