This historic neighborhood is known for its diagonal streets that form into the shape of an X that divides the community into four quadrants. In the center of the street grid lies a circular park complemented by four diamond-shaped rose gardens. Ladd’s Addition is also known for being architecturally rich, boasting early 20th-century home styles including American four-squares, Victorians, bungalows, and more. Although Ladd’s Addition is known for these old-fashioned styles, there are modern mid-range to upscale rental options available as well. The historic district is also home to the National Hat Museum.
