There are several parks nearby that residents frequent. Dewees Park, on the northwest corner of the community, is a neighborhood favorite. Locals use this park for youth football games, photoshoots, and social gatherings. There is a community garden here as well. Maintaining a strong sense of community, residents here support the businesses closest to the neighborhood. Catch a flick at the Senator Theatre, a 1939 theater showing blockbuster and indie films. Afterward, indulge in succulent crab cakes at Swallow at the Hollow, a hole-in-the-wall, yet nationally recognized, eatery.

There isn't many dwellings that are abandoned or vacant in my area. The property cost is also well priced. If you go a few black away from my neighborhood, you find homes that have been vacant.
