I grew up here. There are many public parks in the area that host festivals and concerts. It's a family-friendly neighborhood where everything is within walking distance, such as coffee shops like Starbucks and Dunkin', stores like Jewel, CVS, and Walgreens, and even restaurants and bars. There are many public transportation options CTA buses and trains along with Divvy bikes in the neighborhood. It makes it easy to commute without a car.

I feel save in this neighbourhood. It's pretty easy to commute anywhere around, both downtown or suburbs.

Jefferson Park is friendly and a comfortable environment. It's not city life but it still is populated and fun. There are nice stores and people around. One bad thing is the trash around and the governor is working on fixing any old roads and sidewalks.

It is a very nice neighborhood with lots of nice local elementary schools and a few high schools nearby. The community is very welcoming and very diverse.
