Goulds is known to be a bad neighborhood with lots of police activity. It has gotten alot better over the last several years due to gentrification. Newer properties and businesses are causing property values and rents to increase pushing out the lower income residents little by little. Still it is not a good neighborhood. I would really like to leave Miami entirely because the crime rate and people are really not favorable.

This place has gotten better ever since many bad neighbors have left. Crime used to be common around here, but has significantly decrease. New, friendly, and respectable neighbors have moved in, making this neighborhood a better place to live in.

Over the summer it's best to be aware to leave the house secure with an alarm and a few cameras. Children that are off for summer break tend stupid stunts when the house owners aren't home. Some children in the area tend to do what they are not suppose to in that time of the year.

The experience I've in counter over the twelve years at the area were mostly good. It's a quiet neighborhood which is its best quality and not a lot of cars passes by to disturb the activities being done through out the day.
