My overall experience with Glenolden, PA. is a pleasant experience. I grew up in this neighborhood and now I raise my daughter in the same neighborhood. My neighbors and the residents in my community are awesome and always willing to converse with me as well as help a person in need.

It's not real big or real small and Glenolden Elementary school is wonderful. Their are tons of small businesses to support as well.

Glenolden has some beautiful community events that we contribute to. People maintain their homes. This community shuts down by 8pm. The police will stop and ticket children in violation of curfew which keeps the nonsense down. I haven't seen any kids out late in the last ten years. People here work and have pride. I would not say it's the friendliest place for minorities but I purchased here for the quietness. I will say the surrounding areas are not as nice.

I just moved here from Chester County. I love that there is public transportation everywhere as I dont drive. Everyone is super helpful to me when I ask questions regarding the trolly, bus, or train. I love the police presence it helps me feel safe when walking to the store at night. There are plenty of stores around within walking distance and I also enjoy the cute little neighborhoods.
