This area is very hit or miss. It is very expensive to live, but also very safe. I dislike how close my neighbors are, and that parents at the schools are very inconsiderate of residents who live on the streets. There is a nice scene of things to do though.

What I like about German Village - historic neighborhood with brick streets and pre-civil war era houses. It's really cute and not as busy as other areas of Columbus. It's not a party zone like Short North/Campus area. What I don't like - Any kind of shopping is really far away. The "historic" status mean they don't have to make anything handicap accessible. It's expensive and residents are mostly snooty white people who don't leash their dogs.
