My family and I have lived in Foster-Powell for 3 years and I feel like it's Portland's best-kept secret. Housing is still reasonably priced, the neighborhood amenities are just as compelling as any other close-in neighborhood, and there are several truly excellent elementary schools that the neighborhood feeds into including Creston and Arleta. People who live here have a lot of pride about the neighborhood and are invested in it and each other. Don't sleep on FoPo.
