Stretching from Garrison Boulevard to North Hilton Street, Forest Park is a verdant community lined with long-standing, two- to three-story homes. Housing in Forest Park is very affordable and often historic, and residents have a selection of unique apartments, houses, and condos to choose from. Forest Park neighbors Hanlon Park, offering a sprawling lake surrounded by a paved jogging trail. Forest Park provides easy access to Leakin Park, Forest Park Golf Course, Druid Hills Park, and the Maryland Zoo as well. Although Forest Park is entirely residential, restaurants and retailers sit nearby at Mondawmin Mall and surrounding shopping centers. Forest Park sits just five miles from Downtown Baltimore, so residents can easily get to the city for work or leisure by car or public transit.

Despite the rough exterior, it's a very comfortable place to live. Supermarket is close, people are personable, and I've hardly ever felt unsafe living here.
