Fairgrounds is a small industrial area just south of Downtown San Jose between Highways 87 and 101. The neighborhood is filled with a variety of businesses, hardware suppliers, auto shops, and more. The eastern corner of the neighborhood is a large green space holding some of San Jose’s main attractions. The lush space is home to Happy Hollow Park and Zoo, Japanese Friendship Garden, History Park, a golf course, and more. The Santa Clara County Fairgrounds is situated in the southern corner of town, providing events and festivals all year long. Outside of town, restaurants, retailers, and residential areas surround Fairgrounds as well as community parks and golf courses.
