East Mount Airy is on the edge of the Philadelphia city limits. I love that there is a more suburban feel to the neighborhood, yet it is just a short train ride away from Center City. The community is extremely welcoming and diverse. I also enjoy the local shops and restaurants lining Germantown Avenue.

Many people in this area may sell drugs and there has been a lot of crime around this area. At the end of my street, there is now a police camera because of all of the crime that has been going on.
