The first settlers in the Delhi Hills area arrived in 1788, but the real surge in growth came in 1817 when the Ohio legislature passed a bill that named the area Del High, which explains today's pronunciation. The Delhi Skirt Game, a Chicago-style softball game, is a competition between the township's fire and police departments with male participants playing in drag. Played the first Friday in August at Delhi Park, this game also features live music, games, concessions and fireworks.

Findlay Market in the Over the Rhine section of Cincinnati features a large year-round farmer's market.
