I love the area I live in. The elementary school is 2 blocks away and close to home to where I can trust my children to walk home on days I am running late. My neighbors are very close and we communicate every day. It's not a stranger danger neighborhood and is very helpful when I survived a domestic violence with my husband. There is nothing my neighbors will not do to help my family in our time of need.

I have lived in this area for about 17 years and I have to say that it is a great area for middle class people to start a family and start getting into the housing market. There is a wide variety of people that live in this area that come from many different background and the atmosphere is overall friendly.

It seems that people stay in the area for a long time. I rarely see a house for sale in the area. When I do, it is sold very quickly. The community is very pet oriented. We see many people in our neighborhood walking dogs frequently. It is a pet friendly community. I do see some cats, but not as many as dogs. Probably because they are mostly indoor pets. The local churches seem like they put on a lot of community events and invite the neighborhood, not just their parishioners. Very friendly feeling.
