Check out the Bastille Days Festival, which is held annually on nearby Jefferson Street. The Concordia area is well-connected by numerous trails, making the area easy to travel by bicycle or on foot.

Local taxis frequent the area, making it easy to hail a cab. Although the car rental service Uber does not service the Concordia area, the service is available in neighboring areas.

Concordia lies near acres of sprawling parks that abound with diverse outdoor activities for every age and interest.

Don’t let the winter blues get you down, add a little greenery to your life all year round. Make your way to nearby Mitchell Park Conservatory. Spend the afternoon exploring dense jungles, dry deserts, and unique floral gardens as you explore the park's biome domes.

Three Bridges Park along the Menomonee River is also close to Concordia. The park provides two miles of biking and walking trails as well fishing and canoeing options on the river.
