College Heights is a small neighborhood in the northeastern corner of Reading. Deemed a historic district in 2012, College Heights maintains a quaint charm with apartments in brick buildings and single-family houses in classic architectural styles like Four Squares and Tudors. As its name implies, the neighborhood is situated around Albright College. This historic locale provides residents with access to plenty of green space. Hampden Park borders College Heights to the east while Antietam Lake Park is only three miles away and is great for fishing and hiking. There are several restaurants, pubs, and stores right outside of College Heights, but residents take full advantage of being close to Downtown Reading, which is filled with some of the best dining, shopping, and entertainment options in the city.
