Crime in this area is not as bad as other areas in the community. Matter of fact I hardly ever witness any in this area myself. The safety in this area is good and nothing is bad enough to be afraid of being outside and walking or running in this area. There is a police four houses down from where I live who lives in this area also. I have no concerns at the time about this area.

There are five different hospitals within 20 miles of downtown, as well as many specialized clinics and medical practices. Many of the jobs here are open to doctors, nurses, and the general public. No one is really excluded so the job market is high in the medical field. There are also a variety of restaurants and entertainment venues that hire all different personalities.

It's an older neighborhood, so many of the residents are also older. There's a diverse population of elderly, blacks, whites, Asians, families, and kids. Everyone looks out for everyone else and helps each other with yard work, snow removal, etc. It's a rare benefit to have such a tight knit community of people. As the neighborhood grows, I can see younger families moving here.

Most homes are bought and renovated by people, and then rented out for others.
