I used to live in Mckees Rocks. No one bothers me he. Its peaceful. Lots of families walking their dogs. No men pressuring me. Its a good neighborhood from what I've seen in 3 years.

We moved here 5 years ago from neighboring Dormont. There wasn't much going on in Beechview then, but much has changed. We have a wonderful main drag that has been recently renovated, lots of diverse businesses have opened, the T is a block away for an easy commute, and we live in the Mecca of Pittsburgh pizza shops (Slice on Broadway, Fiori's, and Beto's are all about 1.5 miles away from each other). Our neighbors are kind, we feel very safe, and we continue to see improvements. Overall, exceedingly happy we took a chance and chose to move here.

Just moved here a few months ago, feel pretty safe and secure, run at night with no issues. Could use better amenities and more businesses but it is a growing area and the people around here are nice!

It is a city neighborhood so of course there are drug problems and crime going on, but there is a lot of police presence so crime is very prevalent. Sure there are those weird people who hang around and kids roaming the streets but other than those its a great for kids to run around all hours without problems.
