The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Monticello Village
very outdated, VERY unclean and there are also roaches. the laundry room is dirty and none of the machines ever work. the water gets shut off MINIMUM 5 times a month, sometimes 7+ hours at a time, because they simply cannot repair anything right the first time. only rent here if you absolutely no other choice. i do NOT recommend, i actively steer people away from it.
They don’t have internet access or a grill the apartment complex always dirty,an the front office if unorganized an do not have 24 hr maintenance it takes for ever to get something fixed n they don’t look nothing like the pictures
I’ve lived here for almost 3 years and it’s a great place. Staff is usually friendly. Maintenance is always quick and super helpful. Pet friendly and large apartments! Rent is cheep, includes some utilities, pet rent is reasonable, it’s close to campus and many food places
I have been here for almost 1 year. The office staff is professional and friendly. The maintenance team is outstanding. They are respectful, clean, and quick to get issues resolved. The neighbors are kind and the neighborhood is quiet for the most part. I highly recommend Monticello Village Apartments.
My husband and I have been living here for a couple years now and have no plans of leaving anytime soon. Management is very kind and helpful and maintenance is quick to respond to problems which are few. We also love they're one of the few apartments in town that don't enforce breed restrictions on our fur babies.-K. Ingram
The landscaping is always up to date, maintenance is quick to fix problems and are friendly to talk to. It's easy to make friends with your neighbors, and the apartments are very spacious, lots of room to decorate however you want! I'm proud to call it home!
The staff are very friendly. They work very hard to keep the property looking nice. They are quick to try and handle any issues we have.
What’s there not to love about this place? My dog has friends, I have friends and my boyfriend has friends. If you have any problems management is always very efficient at solving them as well!
Great staff and property! Very well kept and clean, lovely pool, 24HR laundry and tons of giveaways to engage with residents! You really will feel at home here!
I've lived at Monticello since 2015, Pat is amazing to work with and easy to talk to! They have regular pest control so that there aren't any unwanted critters, and they make sure that your pet is safe during these times and give you advance warning when these occur. The apartments are older but have some updated features, I had brand new comfy carpet when I moved in. My 1 bedroom 1 bath was very home-y and secure. This is the perfect spot for college students who don't want to be bothered by all the noise and traffic that surrounds campus. It's a nice quiet spot in Stillwater to get away and go home to. Due to a job opportunity I had to move out of state. I was mostly sad to leave this property because it's management became so reliable! I wish I could've stayed!
Started leasing from Monitcello earlier this year. Heard about it from a friend who said it was a nice and affordable place to stay in town. The property manager is a wonderful person she remembers everybody by name, which is pretty remarkable, and if you have any problems they will be taken care of immediately. The maintenance crew is on site so it never takes long at all to get whatever problems, if any, fixed. The apartments are very big, bigger than I imagined a one bedroom to be, which is nice because I set up a dining room and have a living room to hang out it. So, its nice to not be cramped up in a small space even though I am living by myself. Overall i would chose this place to stay over any place in town, its affordable, pet friendly, spacious, friendly and has a pool.... what's not to love? 10/10 would stay here again.
I rented a 2 bedroom, 1 bath from Monticello Oct 2016-Mar 2017. It was crap. We couldn't use any of the cabinets because there were bugs EVERYWHERE. We even found bugs in the freezer. We used Raid on the cabinets and did a bug barrier along the floor boards but it didn't help. We didn't get a chance to see the apt before signing the lease because we were out of state when we were approved. The floor had metal plates under the EXTREMELY thin carpet that was high enough for me to keep stubbing my toes. The bathroom is small, rust in the tub, couldn't use under the sink because the shelf looked warped and rotted. We broke our lease because, thankfully, I was able to find a job somewhere else. They never sent a final bill to us, so it went to collections. Be wary of putting down an emergency contact, because they gave that info to the collection agency and they harassed both my mum and my guy's mom. 10/10 would never stay here again.
We have been living here for almost 6 years now. I originally moved into a 1 bedroom while in college. Eventually my husband moved in with me and then we moved into a 2 bedroom after our daughter was born. Management was very nice when we moved over to the 2 bedroom. It is an older property, but it is a very spacey apartment and the property is well kept. Management is very nice. They have all kinds of activities and contest year round for residents. We have a nice pool that is always one of the first pools opened and last to close every season, and an on property laundry mat. We have always been very happy at Monticello.
