Staff is fabulous. Everyone works so hard to make you feel at home. Yasmin is always a happy face to see. Ann really works hard to keep our community engaged with each other by throwing our resident events in the Spring and Summer. I have lived here for eight years, and I have always loved it and felt very comfortable and secure and safe. Ann and Yasmine who are charge of the office are awesome and Andrew is the very talented maintenance guy. Since I had this break in a couple weeks ago, I don’t feel the same safety and security as I used to.

I have been living here at Candlewood for 8 years and this is home and I love it. The location, the area, the convenience are all fabulous and there is no better personnel than Ann, Yasmine and Andrew. The whole complex is clean - up to date - and taken care of constantly.

Great place to live been here over seven years, huge apartments. My unit was freshly remodeled when i moved in. Like new, this is a very quiet/peaceful place to stay. there's plenty of safe street parking for guest or extra cars.

I've lived at Candlewood North for 15 months and have been so happy! Ann is such a great property manager. She always keeps the quality of the complex front of mind, which is not how it is at most apartment complexes. Since living here, she's had the roof replaced on all buildings, she ensures that the carports / carpets / pools / BBQs / dog stations are cleaned on a regular basis, is super friendly, and is always helpful! Yasmin is an amazing Assistant Community Manager. She is so kind to everyone around her, takes the time to get to know the residents, and I always look forward to chatting with her. She always goes the extra mile to help others in any way that she can and is very knowledgeable! Jessie always does a great job with any maintenance requests. He is pays close attention to details in his work, responds quickly to a request, ensures that I'm happy with the result before marking the request as complete, and is friendly towards others around him. I've recommended my apartment to friends of mine because I'm so thankful to live at Candlewood North!

At first glance the property looks clean and well maintained and the staff seems very nice and accommodating; then once they have your holding deposit, they take 3 days to let you know you're "conditionally approved" without any explanation as to why, ask for first and full month's rent as deposit while tacking on several other fees in addition to the rent which aren't made very transparent at the start. The holding deposit is only refundable if you cancel within 24 hours, but how can you if you don't know whether or not you're approved until 3 days later? I canceled my application after realizing they were trying to strong arm me into renting with them by informing me my holding deposit was no longer refundable. In addition, I was out of town and asked that they allow me 2 days to make my decision upon returning, but they refused, knowing that I paid the holding deposit to allow me time to decide until my return. To add insult to injury they also demanded I pay additional application fees. Although, I lost $375 in the process, I'm glad I decided not to go with Candlewood North and Waterton Management company. They are definitely in it to collect funds by any means. I highly recommend passing on this one. Read the other reviews too! They have a lot of negative feedback from renters too!

The team at Candlewood North makes this place feel like home. They’re very kind welcoming and attentive. They make our concerns their priority and never fail to address and solve it in a timely manner. (They also love pets haha!)
I really appreciate the maintenance team as well as the office team-- friendly, helpful and attentive to the needs I present to them. The place is kept clean and in order. The neighbors are also great! I feel safe and happy to be at home here.

I've had such a great experience at Candlewood North and have already recommended it to others! The day I took my tour, I met Yasmin and she is the sweetest person. She took me to see all of the available 1 bedroom apartments in my price range so that I could choose the one I liked best. She helped me every step of the way to ensure that I completed all the steps prior to move in. I took my tour on a Wednesday and was signing the documents / getting my keys by Saturday morning. She helped placed rocks to hold all the doors open to create a path to bring all my stuff straight to the elevators. She even checked in on us to see how we were doing throughout the move, bringing us snacks / water / Gatorade / toilet paper / soap to ensure we had essentials. Since moving in, I like to stop by the office just to chat with Yasmin and Ann. Ann is amazing and has been there to help anytime there was a need. I even stop by the office every once in a while just to chat with Yasmin and Ann. Ryan and Jesse are great when it comes to any maintenance requests. They arrive shortly after the ticket gets submitted and fix things quickly. I have really enjoyed living here!

Moved in and right away I receive an email saying there wont be any maintenance available until they hire new staff. um...ok. unexpected water shut offs, today I woke up to an email saying there will be no running water until??? still waiting to hear back. it’s 12pm now and I haven’t even been able to brush my teeth. there is no trash room, you have to walk your trash to the dumpster outside and you will still be charged a trash fee. lol it’s actually pretty sad. the apartment looks cute and that’s about it.

I have lived in the Candlewood North Apartments for over twenty years, so I have seen a succession of management teams and owners. The current management team is the best to date in my opinion. Since the current owners have taken over, I have found management to be friendly, courteous, sincere, and quick to respond to residents concerns.
Nothing about the renovations are legitimate. Everything is just painted over to look better, but once you open the cabinets and drawers you will find construction debris and failing hardware. Do not move in here. They will place work orders that will go unanswered because there is no accountability for them to complete anything. The lease has no clause about completion of maintenance within 24 or 48 hours. They were recently bought by a new company and the new company seems to cut corners at every opportunity to steal your money.
The apartment itself is big and spacious, but when our neighbors cook, we have unpleasant odor in our apartment. It's awful! The walls and ceilings are too thin. The building always smell. The staircases have trash and dog urine constantly. 3 washers and 3 dryers but every time at least there is 2 dryers that are not working so you have to go to the other side of the complex to use the other buildings equipment. The parking spaces are good.
