She shifted to serving as a wholesale Subprime Account Executive position selling subprime loans along the Gulf Coast of Florida. For 2.5 years, through her wholesale sales duties, Lynn learned how to read credit reports, structure loan files, underwriting guidelines, financial solutions and strategies to close nearly any transaction. In 1998, Lynn obtained her FL real estate broker’s license and opened her own mortgage company, Lender’s Direct. At the time, west of the Mississippi, Real Estate brokers were able to close mortgage transactions, which she did in an array of States, Florida, Colorado, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, North, and South Carolina. She has personally renovated over 20+ homes in the Sarasota area and has become pretty adept at drywall repair. Before establishing Brock Realty (in 2007), Lynn worked with Southern Manatee Fire & Rescue as their Public Education and Information Officer. She has been on hundreds of fire scenes, vehicle accidents, and medical emergencies. Her last five years with the department was spent as a fire inspector for heavy industrial, retail, and office complexes. Lynn grew up in Stamford, CT riding horses, boating and trained with a strong work ethic by her family’s stationery business, Brock Press. The masthead for Brock Realty was based upon a similar design developed by her grandfather and father for Brock Press.
