Families will like Flandrau State Park on New Ulm’s west side with their hiking/skiing paths (birding, too!) and outdoor pool, but may also enjoy two city parks with swimming pools, as well as a splash pad and the new bike path. Winter brings ice-fishing, sledding, and skating in both outdoor and indoor ice rinks. Chase away the winter blues by visiting Schell’s Bock Fest and the Concord Singer’s Fasching held at the August Schell Brewery grounds featuring music, food, beverages, and entertainment.
