Indianola is best known for hosting the annual National Balloon Classic, a nine-day summer event filled with an array of vibrant hot air balloons. The city also hosts the popular Warren County Fair every year.

These apartments are truly the best in Indianola. The apartments them selves are very spacious and the grounds are very well maintained. The staff and owners are all super friendly and are quick to address any needs or concerns.

I've lived here about 4 years and have been very happy with my stay at Linden West. It is a mix of seniors, middle aged adults and families. Very quiet buildings - I rarely hear my neighbors. My heating/cooling bills are very reasonable. There are elevators in every building giving you an option of getting on the upper floors instead of stairs. That was very handy on moving day! Some units have in apartment washer/dryer. Those that don't have access to laundry facilities on every floor. There is a community garden out back for those with a green thumb. The management is responsive and maintenance provides an emergency number. The management routinely goes through to change filters on your furnace. They have put in a new furnace in every unit and new windows and are very good about upgrading things as needed. My dishwasher broke and it was replaced within 42 hours. The drawback is they stopped paying cable (that was a big perk) but they still offer internet for free. The buildings are locked and require code entry which is nice. I don't have to worry about my packages being stolen when they are left on my front door. Indianola is a nice community and is within 25 minutes of downtown Des Moines. Linden West apartments are the best in Indianlola and comparable to any in the surrounding area. I highly recommend living here.
