Almost 70 miles west of Chicago along Interstate 88 sits the city of Dekalb. Most residents, work, live and play in Dekalb itself rather than commuting to Chicago. My apartment is awesome! My decor doesn’t hurt (lol), but the apartment itself is very nice. I have the updated one with wood floors and new appliances. It’s sharp. I don’t want to live anywhere else while I am in school.

Just visited my daughter for the weekend and am really glad her and her roommate opted for Lincolnshire West. She moved out here from out of town and we didn't know what to expect. Just from the outside, it's so much nicer than any of the places we saw pulling into town. Decent sized apartment and well kept by the owners.

We've lived here a few years now and never had an issue with bugs or disturbances. Pretty close to the NIU stadium which is fun and energetic. The two bedroom apartments are just the right size for a small family.

I have a 1bd/1ba at Lincolnshire West. It is a nice clean apartment. Not new by any means, but they do seem to update things every year. I love the pool in the summer and the general vibe is the area. Office people are easy to work with and maintenance has been pretty good.

I live here while I am getting my niu degree. It’s a nice place and is safe. It’s close to campus and lots of food places. I would recommend for any niu students.

My apartment is awesome! I love having the top floor and facing the stadium. The whole apartment complex looks very nice especially in the summer with the flowers. I like the wood floors in my apartment so my allergies are not effected to bad. Overall it’s a great place to live!

This place has been good to us over the past few years. We have a top floor 2 bedroom 1.5 bath. It’s great. We love the balcony space in the summer, along with the pool! They improved it last summer and made the pool house bigger and added a pergola. It’s super nice! We love it here and would recommend it to people liking in Dekalb.

This complex is hands down my favorite in Dekalb. I lived at 2 other places previously to finding Lincolnshire, and I will not move back. From the ample parking to my nice neighbors, to the office people, everything is wonderful.

I recently had a showing here with my son for moving to NIU. It was a pleasant experience and he will be moving in to this location in the fall. I would recommend checking here if looking for a place in Dekalb or for NIU.

I have loved my time at Lincolnshire. My roommate and I moved in 3 years ago and have grown to call this apartment "Home". As I look back on my time, I have come to appreciate the look of our complex as it is so nice and upkept, lawn mowed, trash picked up, etc. We also keep our apartment clean so it still looks nice even after 3 years of us living in it. Never had a bad interaction with the staff her and maintenance has been prompt to fix things if requested. I will miss my home when I move this spring.

Still here after multiple rental contracts. There's no better rental property in town to start a family in unless you get a townhome. Easily the cleanest with nice staff that are helpful. I've had the same neighbros for years so I'm clearly not the only one that feels this way.

We lived here for over 5 years and loved every part of it. They're constantly updating the property for the residents and I wish we couldve stayed longer but we had to move for work. Awesome staff.

I moved in today and love my new place. I rented a 1 bedroom and it’s the perfect fit for me. There is plenty of room for me and my cat plus the pool looks awesome! Can’t wait to jump in!
I am a graduate student studying law. I moved to NIU from out of state so I did everything online. I was concerned because I was not in town to see the apartment before moving in. Upon arrival on moving day, I was super happy with my choice. The property has big trees and many flower beds. I am equally happy with the size and layout of my apartment. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking to move to NIU for school.
I moved in recently and love it here. Super happy with my decision.
