I first and foremost want to thank the whole entire team on this property for delivering what they promised in the lease. They took the time to hire quality people who truly care about tenants despite the difficult circumstances of overcoming two 100 year hurricanes. The same people have been here for the time that I have been a tenant. I am currently on my second lease here, and I am extremely pleased. The whole team is fantastic here, and I just want to express my gratitude for truly owning the situation with transparency and getting things right the first time. It definitely carries weight, and I will renew next year when the time comes unless a work situation requires me to move because of how truly blessed I feel. Keep up the solid work. I have a friend that recently moved in, and I was so excited about the complex I decided to move in myself. I already made the decision, and after completing the simple online application I was so impressed talking to Mariah and Ashley, I am so looking forward to moving in. I saw the apartments, my friend told me she loves it, and both Mariah and Ashley were so friendly, answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable moving in. I never looked back, what a wonderful community, and the property management company has all top notch people working there. I had lived 8 miles away in Downtown St. Pete in a cramped studio apartment, and for around the same price I was able to get into a 1 bedroom apartment, and double the space. What a great place to call home, and thank you to the staff that actually makes a huge difference to me, and everyone else. If you are looing for a nice place to call home, and within budget, this is definitely the place for you!!

Worst apartment experience I've ever had. The unit we moved into was smoky, dirty and the dishwasher, AC and bathroom sink and shower spigot all needed to be replaced within a week of living there. The office handled these requests poorly. We were very considerate and volunteered to leave our unit for a few days while these things were being fixed. They finally offered to give us another unit BUT we had to move our belongings and they would not pay for a mover or give us a reduction in rent due these inefficiencies. Upon living there, we found out that the prior tenant was evicted and destroyed the unit. The office knew very well the condition of this apartment and maintenance dropped the ball big time in preparing it for us but we had to suffer for these mishaps. I would NOT move into this place. Stay away. Unprofessional, incompetent, and poorly managed.

Apartments from above leak into apartments below. Drafty and broken windows. Mold issues caused by moisture. Slabs of the buildings are crack and leak into the apartments, soaking the carpeting. Nice pools and aesthetic.

* UPDATE* I was denied renewal of my lease due to this review and because I expressed my experiences with their maintenance supervisor. instead of addressing the issue at hand, that the maintenance supervisor lacks proper customer service skills, or management skills in general and that he would not return my maintenance emergency call (lockout at 10pm with 2 children and no way to gain access, was told to call a locksmith however, no locksmith would unlock the lock because of the type of lock. i left a new message for the emergency maintenance advising what locksmiths were telling me. But no response. I was clearly very upset, as I should be and expressed that I was stuck outside In my car for hours until I had no choice but to have a friend climb the side of the building so I could break into my own apartment). this shouldve been a very understanding situation but instead they are not renewing me lease when its more difficult than ever to find an apartment because of covid.. their leasing office never returned my call regarding their supervisors behavior. Furthmore, this is not the first incident I've experienced with this supervisor as he was extremely rude and unprofessional when I first moved in, refusing to service my AC when it was over 82° in my home. I've had EVERY right to be upset during this situations. This place would be ok if not for their lazy, rude and unprofessional maintenance supervisor Armando. just hope that he isn't the one on call when your AC breaks or youre locked out of your apartment because he will not come and will make you wait til the following day.

Website- A huge reason as to why I chose this complex was the option to pay rent and place work orders online. However, the site has been down for at least 5 months now. When I email the leasing office re: a work order, I get no response. Amenities- None of the washers/dryers work properly, the washers flood with water and stop working, and the dryers either burn through clothing or don’t dry them at all. When reaching out to the leasing office for assistance, they offer absolutely none and say you have to contact the washer/dryer company instead. This means sitting on hold with a customer service person who can do nothing to actually help. Work orders- Twice now, my A/C has completely stopped working. This is Florida where temps are in the high 80’s even in winter. Both times, they sent someone over to just re-fill the coolant, when even the maintenance worker admitted we need a new unit as ours is rusted and outdated. Because they’re trying to avoid this, it seems that they’re just going to keep giving us temporary solutions. Misc.- The entry gate to the complex functions maybe 5% of the time, which means this is not actually a “gated” community. This place is the typical sleazy apartment complex. The leasing agents seem sweet, caring, and helpful… that is- until they get you to sign the lease. As soon as those papers are signed, they will do anything to brush you off and continue getting more money from you.
I wanted to take the time to acknowledge Lauren. I am on the hunt for a new place which can be frustrating. I came pretty late in the day, I’m pretty sure they should have been closed and Lauren treated me as if i was her first guest. I wanted to thank you for your hospitality, kindness and time;very professional!
Do you like swimming in a pool that smells dirty? Do you enjoy having to pay insane fees for items that are charged even after you have moved out? Do you enjoy rude service? I would not recommend this complex to anyone thinking of moving here. You’re better off paying a little extra for the apartments down the street because this has been the most unpleasant living experience I have had in Saint Petersburg.
We have lived in Lincoln Shores for almost two years and it truly feels like home. The front office staff and the maintenance team have always been incredibly helpful, friendly and responsive to the small handful of issues we have had over the years. Jeff, the head of maintenance, in particular, goes above and beyond for the residents. Thank you, Jeff! The complex itself, although older, is beautifully maintained. When you drive along 4th Street and compare it to other apartments in a similar price range, you really appreciate the beauty of the grounds. The place looks like a resort not an apartment complex. Our neighbors are nice and quite. Honestly, we love living in Lincoln Shores and are thankful for the staff for always providing us with updates and a safe, beautiful place to live!
My husband and I have lived here for 2 years now. We have encountered a HUGE German Roach problem with in the last 3 months. We have contacted the front office continuously to get this problem under control. We pay for pest control (Massey) Each week we call and put our names on the list to have him come in and treat the apartment. The incompetent office staff has failed to put us on the list once or twice and the Massey guy has skipped us THREE times now. I have left work early 3 Fridays in a row to come home and be there when the pest guy comes...but he always fails to show. Today (7.27.17) I put on the resident portal pictures of the countless traps I have already laid and the fact that we are tired of being ignored about this issue! They were MAGICALLY taken down right away, THANK GOD FOR SCREEN SHOTS. Our home is immaculate and we have done everything they have asked. Rent is due on Tuesday, and they will be expecting us to pay it, however they can't even take care of their residents. There are FOURTEEN buildings with roaches!!! I give this place ZERO stars, they are incompetent, have SEVERE lack of communication, a high turn over rate and do not take care of their residents.
The grounds are very well kept up and it's a nice place for taking a walk. At first, I thought the apartments were very comfortable once my mother moved In. I almost moved from across the street over to be closer to her but definitely had to reconsider. Everything seemed ok except she started getting roaches all of a sudden. The little ones, seemed like from next door. Also, the neighbors had a terrible pot smoking issue. They would smoke so much and blow it into the vents on a daily basis, that my mother had to call maintenence because it made her so sick. All they did was put a rag in the vent. My daughters and I would come to visit and just got blown away with the odor. Everyone was getting so nauseous. . She had to move out because the office did nothing about it. I am just hoping that the new neighbors are fellow smokers as well so they won't mind it as much.
I went to look at an apartment and it was a really good price. Three days later, it was more expensive than an apartment that has 100 more square feet. And then the following day it went down again, and by the time I went to lease it, it was gone, but they wouldn't give me the same price on a worse apartment. It's so ridiculous, I don't recommend anyone wasting their time with the stress of their obnoxious fluctuating prices. Go to another apartment complex, you'll be better off and the people will probably care more.
Cheap prices, it's doable, but I advise spending a little more and going somewhere else if you can there are plenty of options. As long as you don't have to deal with the staff it is just ok. Most of the staff don't seem to care about helping residents. Was moved in to a roach infested apartment and was told I brought them in even though I hadn't moved a single box into the apartment yet. It took them a week to get their bug guy out while I was stuck living with it, finding 6-8 roaches a day in my first week here. Maintenance requests can take 4-5-6 days for anyone to come and help and you are left dealing with whatever issue it is in the meantime. No urgency to help you at all. Like I said it is just ok, just hope you don't have to deal with the staff or need maintenance.
I fell in love with lincoln shores initially! Loved the apartment the size the amenities. The vinyl floowing on the first level. I came on several occasions just to verify the color of the stuff in my kitchen and the color of the flooring. Only to come in on moving day and there was carpet!. They changed it but covered my home in dust and debris. The bathroom was not very clean and several bulbs had to be changed. The gate works intermittentley. We love how quiet the community is and how nice the neighbors are however the pool which attracted us initially is covered in tons of leave I put in a service request 2 weeks ago to have it cleaned and it is still disgusting

The leasing agents are very nice. When you put in a request for anything they respond right away. They are a little pricey for what you get... very small 1 bedroom and bath...but thats the cost of living in florida.
Lincoln Shores is in a great location. Central to everything from Tampa to the beaches. The Management and staff are very helpful and organized. Maintenance is quick to fix any problems that would occur. There is a lot of green space for walking our dogs. There is a dog park and many doody stations located throughout the property. The floor plans are perfect for roommates.
Relocated from the midwest and found a home in Lincoln Shores. The property is always maintained and looking nice. The property has a 15 acre lake that is so pretty and you are able to fish in it also. The pools are nice. The gym is not that great. Machines are old and there are barely any free weights. So far it has been great living here. We enjoy it very much!
