Property Ratings at Lincoln Pines
Definitely one of the best places I've ever lived! (I'm giving 4 stars only for the combined amount of LITTLE things that bothered me there.) I was in many of my neighbor's apartments and the apartments were just as nice and clean as my own apartment. The landlord is super sweet (although never around except maybe once a month if you're lucky, for rent checks) but she is good at communication and getting things fixed. I was allowed to choose and schedule plumbers and electricians of my choosing and she would take their bill amount out of my rent check due. I had some noise issues (like I'm sure all apartments can have) but not until after about a year and a half of living there. I lived there for over 2 years. The yards were always kept beautifully clean and landscaped, it was super relaxing to be able to sit outside in the summer in the backyard (hardly anyone was ever outside so I took that to my advantage), and it was away from any noise from the rest of Harlan. Inside, the apartment was pretty much perfect with tons of closets (hallway, 1 in each bedroom, bathroom), just the right amount of space in the walkthrough kitchen and definitely the perfect sized living room/dining room. It was only my cat and I living there for most of the time, but when I had a boyfriend living there as well, it was still enough space for the both of us. I didn't ever have any problems with the apartment, and I was always happy to be home and could relax completely! Definitely a place I would consider living in again. I miss these apartments!
