Davidson is a large, wooded community about 40 miles west of Greensboro. Most of the area is rural land, but the heart of the action is in Lexington. Delicious restaurants, specialty shops, and more can be found along Main Street. The surrounding areas feature shopping centers, a hospital, and a regional airport as well as cozy neighborhoods. Renters have the choice of affordable suburban homes and a variety of apartments. Most of Davidson is surrounded by nature , so outdoor recreation is abundant. Hiking through wooded areas and exploring High Rock Lake, bordering the south of town, are all popular pastimes among Davidson residents.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Lexington Station
My family loves it here and absolutely adore our apartment, we are not use to apartment living but home is where the heart is. Never had any big issues with our home but Dale on the maintenance team is on it anytime we have had to put in a request for something that was out of our control and always respectful in our home, if he is out and about on his little cart, he always smiles or waves just to say hi and that in itself is always welcoming. Margaret down in the office is very nice and accommodating if we ever need anything or have questions and she has seasonal parties for everyone in the community like we literally just had a Halloween party where there was food, decorations, candy and even face painting for the kids. We aren’t here long term as we are looking for a house to buy, however we will miss the place when we move on
Property manager is absolutely amazing! The maintenance man is super kind and fast to fix problems ?? super quite place to live and beautiful layout of apartment homes.
It is buyer beware at Lexington Station Apartments. The apartments themselves are located in a nice location. The problem is not with a onsite managers or the maintenance people rather it is with the management company that runs this place. They have farmed out the sewer and water to a company called Conservice. How they figure out each tenants bill is a mystery but I think they divide the usage they purchase from another source, most likely the City of Lexington, among the rest of the complex. But the real stinger is that they charge an administrative fee that is more than your total bill. Forget about that part that says they negotiate pet fees! not happening. And when you take your pet to area provided for them, WATCH YOUR STEP! There are a lot of responsible residents that clean up after their pet but a lot and I mean a lot that don't. There is little enforcement of this. I won't even go into how much the City of Lexing gouges you for Electricity ot that you pay a monthly garbage fee to carry your own garbage to a collection of dumpsters that is NOT centrally located or one mail box for the complex that is not centrally located. The rent itself is not exorbitant but I think a little high for the area and amenities.2 months rent to get out of the lease otherwise I would be gone even if the location was the reason I came here.
