Property Ratings at Lexford at Hobe Sound
This has been the worst place we have ever lived. Termite, roach, and other pest problems that they don’t call pest control for, excessive mold everywhere even behind the walls and in the air units that they refuse to fix and just paint over, extreme humidity issues in the whole apartment (80% and sometimes higher even with a dehumidifier), old and run down, faulty appliances, and even a pipe that burst and flooded our whole room in our apartment in the middle of the night. There is no one ever at the office to contact and get ahold of. The neighborhood itself is a mess and extremely disgusting. I have gotten extremely sick and bad allergies from all of the mold. None of the apartments, not even the updated ones, which we are in currently, are worth the time. Not to mention the outrageous pricing for how disgusting these places are. We cannot move out fast enough. To management- get it together. These are extremely terrible and unsafe living conditions. Do NOT move here. It is disgusting!

I recently moved into what was advertised as a “newly renovated apartment,” but my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the outset, I've faced numerous issues: getting stuck inside due to a malfunctioning door, a sink that took months to repair, and a persistent water leak from a broken shower pipe. The humidity caused the walls to expand. There's constant black mold growth around the windows and mold is now spreading to my personal belongings. I constantly have to wipe off walls from mold growth. I reached out to the property manager multiple times regarding the black mold and the health issues it has caused, especially with a baby in the house. Unfortunately, she has been unresponsive for a whole week and just emailed back claiming to be out of the country and advising me to stop emailing. This level of neglect shows a complete disregard for tenant health and safety. My brother previously lived in a different unit here and experienced similar problems, which also went ignored for months and couldn't reach anybody. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. My experience has been the worst I've ever had with landlords and apartment living. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.
