This community is nice, quaint and very convenient to downtown Alpharetta and every single place one would want or need to go. Hospital, grocery, shopping, night out, sushi or just walking for fresh air. The staff is incredibly kind and the maintenance team is always ready to work. They are knowledgeable and articulate, when I have questions about infrastructure or engineering related to my needs. Very rare these days. No complaints at all, I’m almost a year as a new resident to this community and Alpharetta/Milton.

This apartment complex is very attractive, well-maintained and extremely quiet all hours of the day. The staff is very friendly and quick to make any repairs or adjustments. I don’t think Apartment living could be any better unless it over looked the ocean!

Everyone who works here is friendly and professional. The facilities and gates are very well maintained and we have never had any issues with receiving packages. The office team cares about the community. All paired with an appropriate monthly rent amount and close distance to downtown Alpharetta.

Very nice, friendly, clean and safe place to live.
management team led by Chris offers excellent customer service. We had some troubles with our move in but Chris and the team took care of things honorably and with fairness, which I think can be really hard to find. It's not a new apartment complex obliviously, but the five stars are for the fact that I know if I have any challenges with the apartment or if me and my family can be any more comfortable, the lex team will do what they can to make that happen. With having a young family, that type of piece of mind makes a big difference. Additional points: -Sound does travel easily as some of the other reviews indicate -maintenance team is reliable, quick to support and friendly -every month or so the management team does some type of fun activity or food giveaway, it is always a pleasant experience running into any of them as they are really nice. -gym has a decent amount of equipment all of which work. -the property is maintained well though it is on the older side. -neighbors are friendly and welcoming of families, it's a diverse community and people at all different points of life seem to live here. *Note: this was an old review I wrote on google but had to take down for privacy reasons, posting it back here so it can be used anonymously*

Just moved from Midtown, was worried I’d be missing the night life. I actually do not, my perspective have changed on how to still have a great time, quality food in a safe space for me and my teenage son. The community is safe, quiet and super kind to each other. The maintenance team works hard and efficient. Office Team are wonderful and makes themselves available. After 20 years of city living, I have everything I need right here. No more trains, sirens or car chasing.
Cortland Lex is a quiet and beautiful place to live. Its location is perfect, close to everything but quiet and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the apartments are spacious and comfortable! Good choice!
Cortland Lex is a great place to live. The property is well kept. The environment is safe and quiet. The management team is great at resolving any problems you may have and planning community events.
Overall I'm very pleased with Cortland Lex. I've lived in a number of apartment complexes and Cortlands personable staff and care given to the grounds exceeds anywhere I've been.
This is a great, quiet community with a very friendly and helpful staff. There are usually events going on here or in Downtown Alpharetta and Wills Park which are both within walking distance. Great place to be close to stores and restaurants.
Overall Maintenance is responsive, the community is quiet, and the amenities are great. Cortland Lex is an awesome place to live. The staff goes out of their way to plan events for the residents to bring an extra experience to their regular days/holidays. Definitely recommend!

I've lived in this neighborhood for almost three years. I am a young woman and generally feel safe. Maintenance requests are completed within a day or two usually, and the maintenance and office staff are considerate and respectful. It's great to be near downtown Alpharetta.

I've been living at Cortland Lex since July 2022, and I really enjoy it. The apartments are well-maintained and get renovated for each new resident. Maintenance is super fast and efficient. Whenever we need something, we just submit a service request through Cortland's platform, and the team takes care of it very quickly, usually within 24 hours. The management team is also always helpful in addressing any billing or lease-related inquiries. There are always interesting events organized by the staff where you can get to know your neighbors better. The common areas are nice and well-maintained. I would say the only downside here is that you can't leave your trash on the street in front of your apartment. You have to put the trash in your car and take it to the dumpster past the gate.

The first time I took a tour at Cortland Lex, I knew I had found the right place for me. After four months, I am even happier for moving here. Everyone on staff is quick with a smile, the genuine kind that makes you feel welcome rather than intrusive. Staff members are swift to attend to any problems or service requests on the very rare occasion I have had any issues. The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day, which adds to the safe, community feel of the complex. At only 1/2 mile from Main Street in Alpharetta, it is by far the most convenient place for great restaurants and activities and community gatherings. Less than a mile from the Alpharetta Community Center, there are ample places to walk your dogs or play with your kids. And it is quiet, the kind of quiet you get living in the middle of a subdivision rather than the busy road Cortland Lex is actually located on. Perhaps the most comprehensive way to give my approval of Cortland Lex is to say, it is the place I easily recommended to my friend's daughter as a place to call home after her wedding.

I love living at Courtland Lex! It has fabulous customer service, excellent response time for any maintenance or support needed, it is a quiet and beautifully landscaped complex, they really care about the residents, they offer free yoga and have had many complimentary activities, although I have not been able to attend them yet. I rate it an 11 out of 10!

Don't move here! While the location is great, the apartment complex is very dated and very poorly maintained. My apartment had items from the last tenets left everywhere. The dryer doesn't dry, the sink faucet leaks, the A/C leaks, there are bugs, the patio railing is bowed and cracked, cabinets are old and they don't stay shut, the refrigerator freezes things, among other things. This complex is managed by Cortland but owned by another company. It does not meet Cortland's high standards.

The Cortland Lex team are responsive to some issues and not as responsive to others. We currently have a stove that has rust throughout and we have requested several times to have this replaced. It does not cook/bake efficiently. Also, provided light bulbs are very dim.

The communication from management has fallen off over the last 6 months. Projects to amenities are not communicated till they are started. The pool has been closed for all of spring and has no record of being open. They mangement is not telling residents that there has been a rash or car break ins and a car being stolen off property. The gates are never all functioning and we will not have communication when they are broken.

I have lived at the Cortland Lex apartments for 5 years. The people in the office are great to work with and truly care. The beautiful trees and well-cared-for landscape has been great. I have had a wonderful and quiet experience!

Having been living at Cortland Lex for over three years; great place to live at; very good location and excellent management staff.The community as a whole is top notch. ???? I have lived here for five years and have been spoiled to apartment living. The office staff are so professional and friendly! Plan to stay.
This place has been nothing but amazing since day one. The apartments are nice, location is ideal and grounds are well kept. I do have to say the thing that makes it for us is Gary Hill in the leasing office. He has consistently gone above and beyond for us. Our mom lives here on her own and he is so responsive, helps answer questions, and manages to make us feel like she is in good hands. We needed hand rails installed in her shower - he helped us get that done without issue. When I reach out, he responds quickly and is always so friendly and happy to help. I’m grateful for a neighborhood like this and glad she has it to call home.
I have lived at the Lex for 6 years and have enjoyed it very much. The onsite team is amazing, the maintenance men are the best of the best. The grounds are lovely with many trees and room to walk. It has been a wonderful experience and feels like home!
Cortland Lex is a wonderful apartment complex. The staff work very hard to make the residents feel valued and listened to. Their maintenance crew is incredible also. I have been very satisfied for the last two years.
Overall great safe and quite place to live. The office staff is absolutely amazing and always there to support with never any pushback. And the maintenance team is stellar!
When we first moved into the community, we were attracted by the location and the price. Since then, it is gotten very busy in the area and price has gone up. We thought this was a safe area, but in two years we have had three separate incidents involving others violating our property by tampering our vehicles while they were parked in the community parking lot. We have had our vehicles struck and stolen from on multiple occasions and insurance claims have been made on several accounts. After confronting management, they said they would look into sending out a message to the community, but that has never been done. We have retracted our previous referrals.
