Welcome to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, known as "Christmas City USA." This historic community combines preserved colonial architecture with contemporary living options. The city's downtown showcases 18th-century Moravian buildings alongside newer residential developments and retail districts. One-bedroom apartments currently average $1,634 monthly, with a 3.9% year-over-year increase. Housing options range from historic row houses in the Central Historic District to apartments near Lehigh University's South Mountain campus. Notable areas include the SouthSide district with its thriving arts scene, the historic North Side, and the West Side in Lehigh County.
Bethlehem's heritage as a colonial Moravian settlement and former steel-manufacturing center shapes its present-day character. The SteelStacks arts campus, constructed on the former Bethlehem Steel site, hosts community events throughout the year, including Musikfest.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Lehigh Plaza
Perfect apartment for a single disabled veteran grandpa.
It says in the ad 24 hour emergency maintenance, that simply doesn’t exist at Lehigh plaza. I know this cause I’ve been there. 2. It says heat but you will freeze everyday and night the entire winter. It never got any better in my apartment that 38 degrees. 3. They say high speed internet, but you will never have it cause the owners are too cheap to upgrade the wiring. And last 4. They say onsite professional and friendly staff. Completely untrue. Anytime you need to deal with them they are nothing but nasty and rude.
Great neighbors, quiet noise does not carry. A nice yard with gorgeous mature trees. Rabbits and squirrels to feed if you like. Picvic tables, and a grill also a small playground but designed with safety in mind. Great location and bus service outside the front door.
Pretty and peaceful, lovely trees and a nice playground for the little ones. Nice neighbors and the apartments are adequate.
r neighbors are friendly, the staff is great. The apartments are terrific. I love our balcony. The apartment complex takes care of the grounds, if there is an issue with an appliance or an emergency where maintenance is required they are at your place ASAP. The apartments are spacious and sound proof. My only two complaints are in the summer the apartment will get house centipede's every summer. Some summers they have been few and other summers there are one or two a day. Come fall, winter and part of spring there are NO House Centipede's. :) My second complaint is if your going to be late with rent more then one or five days make sure you let them know and make the arraignments in writing and not verbal. I know you should not be late with your rent and it should be paid on time. But sometimes medical emergencies come up. If the agreement is verbal if they want to they will not renew your lease because you broke the contract even though you made arraignments. But the apartment complex's policy is to work with it's tenant's who are late and they will work with you. If you move here I recommend parking in the back and not out front. Yes out front is more convenient but sometimes car's get side swiped. Little bumps or nicks but out back on the off street parking there are no issues.
Despite # of bedrooms, all rents are basically the same here. Area removed from other rooms and closets to accommodate the additional bedrooms while maintaining the same approximate area The management is absent 90% of the time, leaving maintenance staff to tend to all issues. Grounds are fairly maintained, as are units however.
Hello I will share with you a great place to live. We are right in a bus line, close to Westgate Mall and good neighbors. A safe place to live and its nice to sit out on the picnic tables in the evening and visit with the neighbors. Soon we will be having gardening plots so if we want to garden we can. Take a tour or just come by in the evening walk in the back and talk to the residents. Were friendly and honest. Enjoy Janice
my apartment, is very spacious, I have laundry facilities downstairs. My unit is also supplied with a storage unit. The complex keeps the grounds beautiful, our curb appeal beats the competition. Management and custodial make themselves available when needed. Someone is always on call. Which is comforting to know. It just becomes hard to stay when the rent continues to go up but your employment isn't keeping up with your complex. You start moving around like a gypsy to find a good affordable place to call home.
