I just moved in a day after applying, thanks to Alberto who knew I need to move quickly. I was treated with the utmost respect and now have a beautifully renovated new home. Im so happy, great service, from great people, nothing more I could ask for. Thank you!

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The apartments have a ton of storage and look beautiful with a lot of space. The gates work and the community is getting renovated. FIVE STAR!!

I live on the bottom floor and have for about 8 months and in that 8 months, my home has been flooded by waste and sewage 5 times from the drain in the floor. I will come home or be sleeping then this awful smell will hit me and I look in my second bedroom or the hall and there is water and grease and food pouring out of the drain from the floor in the side closet. It ruined boxes of my stuff when I first moved in, and the Maintenance crew snakes my drain for an hour then two days later it floods while I am at work and poor's waste all over my floors and stinks up my apartment again. This last time I sent a request it has been over 2 hours and no one has showed up to help me stop the flooding and it is still leaking water into my apartment. I would not rent from this place.

This is a very unsafe place to live. My car was broken into. The gate and cameras don’t work.

Twice sewage has backed up into my apartment. Twice they told me its my problem. And twice they have done nothing to clean or take care of the mess. I have an elderly dog at home who could get very sick from this. They did nothing but said "this normally doesn't happen" while I had to use my clothes to stop the sewage from ruining everything I own. They have not contacted me and they barely (but obviously didn't) try to fix it. Save yourself the smell.

I have lived here for a year and have gotten our car stolen, been charged HUNDREDS of extra dollars in random fees, and never had access to any amenities they claimed to have. This is the worst management I’ve ever seen. They tow residents’ cars without notice and don’t listen to anything residents say.

I just moved in on 4/20/2023 and I have had a good experience with management and my apartment.

I live here over 3 years now haven’t have any major issues. These apartments are good size and well done. The complex is cleans and safe with the gates for kids you always see them running around playing. It under new management that is quick to respond to issues.

MUST READ ALL!!! I’m so done! If it’s not one thing it’s another. Been here since November and let me tell you Iv called the office a number of times regarding issues one of the biggest things was about the fridge that is provided to every renter and mine I noticed a week after move in that it leaked some fluid from the back of the fridge onto all the shelves where my food obviously was and I told them this, I had to throw out so much food because I was unaware of what was in the fluid leaking. Someone came out to take a look and said a part would have to be ordered as that is said about everything but I said ok even though it’s a Health risk for my family/kids n it took a couple months for them to finally switch out my fridge with another one from a different unit and it only got swapped out because I had to call over n over n over about the issue! THATS NOT they have you do a move in check list and I did just that and still most of the issues have not been fixed and you would think your moving into a move in ready appointment but not the case I don’t even have screens on come of my windows like really don’t they have a check list them selves before allowing people to move in! I also notified them about the laundry room because it’s a huge hazard and is dangerous because it leaks water out when it drains the water and when I called the office and told them I fell when I opened the door because I was a new tenant and didn’t know when I walked back into the laundry room there would be water on the floor and I was pregnant when I slipped and I told the office that too and she just said they will send someone to take a look at it n here we are 5 months later and it’s still not fixed and I slipped again trying to check my cloths!!!! They don’t take your safety seriously because when I told them I’m pregnant and had fallen it should have been fixed ASAP for everyone’s safety.

It’s really quiet and the staff is super friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this community to anyone! We never hear guns, arguing, fights or any of that sort and I been living in the community since March and plan on renewing my lease!

Dont move in here!! We hear guns being shot in the parking lot often in the middle of the night. So much the police dont even come most of the time. I guess nobody bothers to call them anymore? Large dogs are in the dog area sometimes left in there all day with no one with them.. They bark all day long.Thought only dogs under 25 pounds were allowed here.. a huge dog attacked a little dog in the dog area one day! Not good.Don't get an apartment by the trash bins if you want to sleep past 4 am on trash pick days. They have all the bins for the entire complex in one spot . stinks and way loud! Moving out soon as possible.

I’ve been here for less than a month, when I did the apartment inspection it had a bunch of stuff missing. (Fire alarms don’t have batteries, wood floor is damaged, doors won’t close, walls still have holes, stains and dents in the kitchen, etc.) which is fine since it’s little things and they said someone would be coming in and fixing the issues. It’s been a month and till the date they haven’t fixed anything. What they did with the door was take the strip from the entrance door off, and here I am thinking they “fixed” it but now I have a bunch of cockroaches and spiders inside my apartment. I hope the manager actually reads this and does something about it. 1801 #4

1. They lied about the companion pet deposit. They said once we turn the letter in they would return the deposit. So my daughter paid her rent minus the $150. Now they are being hit with late fees. I am bringing the law concerning companion pets. They finally agree that they can pay the rent minus the monthly pet fee, but then charged late fees. 2. They had black mole, which they just painted over. 3. The front door is so swollen from heat it hard to open. Meaning if a fire happens my mom & grandkids might not be able to get out. I finally wrote into the fire department. 4. Place is full of coach roaches. After Ashley assured it was bug free. I said that my moms last place was full. Really wanted to make sure this place had none. 5. I checked the rating on the apartment, people where raving. Had 4.5 star rating. Ashley bragged about the rating. I come to find out that they are giving tenants discounts on rent for writing reviews. They gave my daughter 50 off, then charged her a late fee when she paid the rent, minus that amount. 6. They reported all the move in issues with the apartment, it took numerous notices to get some of it fixed. They didn’t fix it all! 7. Dogs walking around unchained. I would never recommend anyone move here.

The staff is always friendly, and Ashley is fantastic. Maintenance is pretty prompt. The area is pretty quiet, and the majority of the tennants are either families or single people living alone. Overall, I like it a lot.

I have witnessed the bad, the worse and the ugly in this apartment but with the new management, the good,the beautiful and the best is all we got now. The staffs are professional and friendly, I give them a thumbs up

Legend oaks is a great place to live. The apartments are free of pests of all kinds. Our 2 bedroom apartment is the perfect size and very homey for the price! Management is friendly and accommodating. Remodeling is being done all over. Would recommend!

Legend Oaks has got to be one of the best apartment complexes I have ever lived in. The complex is clean, the staff is friendly, and the apartments are nice. No complaints. Will definitely be renewing my lease.

This is a great place to live! There are people from all over the world here, and they are incredibly friendly, and willing to learn from you and teach you new things, as well. The management here is working on upgrading and remodeling a lot here, to help better the community. Ashli is the community manager, and she is great... she is incredibly kind, and she is direct! She is always on top of everything and anything that comes her way, and handles most of what goes on with the community here! I appreciate the maintenance team, any time we have a problem and get a hold of the main office, they are prompt and help us get things taken care of. And there are a lot of things to do near here... Wyandotte Lake is 5 minutes away, so we spend a lot of time hiking and playing! There is also a bus that comes through from the library with books on it, which is really cool for people who like to read or have young kids.

They work on all your problems and enquiries super fast. Fun staff and kind, and still they improve this already amazing apartments.

I recently moved to Kansas City from a smaller town in Kansas. Finding a economic, secure place to live was number one on my list. I found just that at Legend Oak Gated Community. I love that each building is equipped with cameras, and that the office staff are so welcoming.

It's really nice and cozy here, the staff is super helpful as well, and its very close to KCCC, so any students would be happy to live here!

For aslong as Ive been here everything has been nothing but great. I have never once needed to file a noise complaint.

The location is in a very nice and quiet location, the pool is just an added bonus, community is very nice and friendly plus the staff here is helpful and responsible with their duties, apartment looks nice and maintained and maintenance responds rather quick!

Legend Oaks has been an excellent place to live in for the past year ive been here, the staff is great, the apartment is great, friendly community and safe for children, they make regular activities around the complex and we got a pool, it has really become a home away from home.

The grounds are always well kept! I appreciate how clean the property grounds are in the spring, and that stairs are shoveled and salted before I go out to work in the winter.

For the price of the place, I would say that it’s definitely worth it because it’s gated, spacious, clean, no violence zone, and the renovations are looking very good. They’re planning on making a dog park and that to me sounds amazing.

Management is great, especially Ashley. Whatever problem we had she helped fix right away. She’s super friendly and makes anything possible.

The apartments was an amazing experience. The move in process was very easy and smooth. They helped with the process in every way they could help.

Moved from PR to Kansas and this is the place i choose to move in! great place to live. fills all my needs, Gym and pool too. 10/10 would recommend!
