I moved here with my wife and 1 month old baby from another state on Friday, Oct 18. Application process was smooth, and it was all great until I landed at this place. I reached here 12 days after my lease start date and followed up at least 10 times before coming here to ensure that apartment is move-in ready and all the issues were taken care, so they had enough time for all this.. It was anything but move-in ready when we opened the door, Bedroom carpet had stains, blind was broken, closet was all dirty and stained, door lock had no batteries, patio was all dirty with spider webs all around, few things were broken in bathrooms, fan lamp was not working, air filter was not replaced and there was bad smell all around and list goes on, forget about cleaning, it wasn’t even vacuumed properly. Seems like no inspections was done basically. John from the maintenance team( giving 1 star because of him, otherwise this place is a negative) is the only good thing about this place, he was very polite and listened to all our concerns and scheduled a carpet replacement for Monday (still waiting for this to get done as I post this and it was scheduled for Monday AM) and handled few minor issues on the same day. I also got a storage outside as specials which had no light and filled with dead bugs, don’t think will be ever able to use that as it is more like a garbage bin than storage. So, I am in a situation where I feel I have to spend a lot of time in cleaning a newly leased apartment and will be busy killing the roaches (they are huge here) until I get out of here. Don’t expect any privacy, one of the carpet guys just walked into locked apartment without knocking when we were in there, not sure how he got access to the apartment, concerning! Walls are thin here so you can hear people walking upstairs. Don’t fall for the trap because of apartment size and pictures on the website, it is not a good place to live specially with family. PS: I have mostly written positive feedback in my life, just could not hold this one.

Apartments great. Staff communication could be better. Rates are high for the area. Maintenance is terrible. I tell people it?s great if nothing goes wrong in your apartment and maintenance is never needed.
The apartment layouts are nice and up to date. Amenities are nice and improving as much as possible. The complex has begun to be more noisy than in the past. Aside from people outside and bass from music playing all night, if you have anyone living above you, you’ll be able to hear their footsteps throughout. I can hear my neighbors have conversations in the bathroom, hear their footsteps and even when they use the microwave. For the money, it isn’t worth it.

Aventura Crossroads is perfectly located for anything you could want in the Triangle. We love our apartment, and we appreciate the diverse community. Despite what some have said, I only occasionally hear doors closing, especially on windy days. The leasing staff are extremely helpful, and the maintenance team is always quick to respond to requests for service. We are very happy with our choice!

Expensive, due to improvements that were made the person above you seems to be stomping when they walk. I don't think insulation was installed with the new floors.
This apartment is lovely and the ammenities are fantastic and the apartment that I look at was beautiful. The only reason I am not renting it is because I work form home and the layout of the apartment in my price range was just not condusive for it. Besides this, I loved everything about the apartment and the community. The agent that workded with me was Antea and she was amazing!
I would recommend this community because my maintenance requests have always been handled in a timely manner.
Only thing holding back to recommend to others to is amenities which most apartments in this price range has full running amenities
Office staff does not always answer/return phone calls. Emails take a while to get back to.
Overall the community is great. The apartments are very quiet. If the amenities available times work for you, wonderful. The location is amazing. My dislike is the constantly broken dumpster.
I would because the area is nice and it's near work. However I would probably also strongly caution about how maintenance is handled here.
I would but let them know the community isn't as good as it used to be. Much more noisy now, trash, trash cans and pet waste around the property.
Maintenance often lacks good communication and has, on a few occasions, not come at all when I've sent a request, causing me to wait then send in another, which is frustrating.

So many things wrong with this place. Maintenance can take many weeks to follow up on anything, the management staff is rude. Problems go not fixed. I’ve really never had such a bad experience. Save your money.
Very safe and quiet community. Easy to walk around the neighborhood and is very pet friendly.

I have had an issue with heat at a previous apartment that took over a month to replace, with limited information shared about the progress of the job. With this issue, the issue was identified that day and was told clearly when the issue would be fixed and when there would be someone entering my apartment. Extremely satisfied with how quick the job was fixed, how knowledgeable the maintenance personnel was, and how everything concerning the issue was communicated clearly to us.
The location is great and the office personnel are friendly. It is a beautiful community.
The location is ideal to any kind of activities and the entire complex, overall, is a place that one can call home.
I'd recommend it for: professionalism, cleanliness, location. I'd not recommend it for: anyone not living on a top floor (due to noise issues) or anyone who'd be aggravated by lack of parking.
I love living in this apartment complex because: 1) the staff always take care of ANY issue I have! 2) Maintenance always come out and repair any issue I have the SAME day. 3) my building is quiet if I have an issue with noise the staff ALWAYS takes care of it. That is saying a lot because I work nights and sleep during the day. 4) The staff is VERY friendly! 5) They always provide the BEST parties for the residents. 6) They keep the grounds clean
The office staff are absolutely amazing people! Everyone is friendly, smiling, and professional. Since the buy out, I've gotten a ton of unnecessary emails and no real information from the new company. The biggest issue is parking. And the cost of the garages.
No recycling for glass and plastic, should be available at a complex of this size and in a suburban area. Never any parking near our apartment at night and hate having to walk further in the dark. Loud neighbors upstairs (always a risk living in an apt...). Very convenient location and floor plan is good use of space.
Great location and apartments. But be weary of cockroaches, no recycling and the price is looking to be too high.
The only thing that I have disliked about living in this community are the roaches and ants daily.
I enjoy living here just dislike throwing money out the window for valet.

I'm a long term resident with Legacy Crossroads... The first couple of years, I would have said five stars! Location couldn't be better, movies across the street, restaurants abound and lots of delivery options as well as pet stores, clothing, housewares and bus stops all a quick walk away. Unfortunately, there are some drawbacks. The large and very nice apartments have some finish and durability issues, crumbling grout, cracked tiles, large gaps in between door jams and closed doors etc... they are apartments, I can live with that however, rent increases are substantial and drive everybody out, so there is an unbelievable amount of turnover! I am paying almost 150% of what I had during our first year, that's huge! About $100 increase every renewal... and if you are late with rent by a day, be prepared to shell out $80 for the late fee. Parking is also an issue, most of the time I have to park way on the other end of the building, because everything is taken as there are four buildings jockeying for the same few spots... There is Valet Trash although, what they accept, and pickup is limited and if you put out an extra bag on Sunday, they report you to the office and you are subsequently fined $25. There are free pet stations with poop bags throughout the property, which is a plus, however they are poorly maintained and half the time are overflowing with loaded poop bags and out of fresh empty bags... also there are a lot of people not picking up after their pets so tread carefully on grassy areas, probably due to the first pet station issue. Maintenance is meh, ok... they take the quickest, easy fix rather than fixing it properly the first time, requiring multiple maintenance requests to fix the same issue over again, although they respond in a fair amount of time. Like I said, I've been here a long time so these grievances have built up over time and for the money they are asking now I feel I'm being priced out of this place. I hate moving and love the area unfortunately, what they are demanding for rent now wipes the shine right off this place... I think I will be moving out come lease time.

The Legacy at Crossroads is a fantastic apartment community. The staff is very friendly, and accommodating. The apartments themselves are very spacious, well structured, and nicely finished. To top it all off, you are within walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. Not to mention, the rent is very reasonable for the area, and for the many amenities available at the complex. Great pool, and work out facility!
