Audubon Crest Apartments

Since I have moved in last summer, there have been water leaks, thin floors between us and our upstairs neighbors (we can hear everything going on upstairs), faulty appliances, holes in walls from previous tenants that have yet to be sealed, constant internet issues, and a revolving door of mainenance people, managers (I've met 4 seperate managers who have now came and left in under 6 months), and temps who have consistantly shirked responibility for addressing any of the issues that have been noted since my move in inspection. But the absolute worst part about this apartment has been the roaches. On my move in inspection, i counted 4 seperate roaches, with several more dead ones in light fixtures (that were never cleaned out between last tenant and me). When I noted it in the move in inspection, I was assured the issue would be addressed immediately. It never has. Theyre coming from the walls, the entire building is infested, and absolutely zero has been done about it by staff. Its disgusting and entirely unacceptable. For what I'm paying for rent I should not be killing 5+ roaches a day in my apartment. Theres absolutely no way I will be renewing. If theres one thing to please take away from this review: DO NOT MOVE HERE. Staff will placate you with politeness but use every excuse imaginable to justify why they've gone 6 months without resolving issues that have been there since move in. Also they told me my unit had been refurbished with new cabinets, appliances, and flooring between the last tenant and me, and that was just 100% a lie....

Me and my Husband lived here a few months we had water pouring into our apartment the whole time. Coming in our Light our Smoke Detector and A C / Heat vent. All because no one wanted to do any work around there . We had a tree that had fell on the apartment before we moved in and no one done anything. We complained about the tree and water pouring in and got nothing but attitude.Very Dangerous.No Heat. We were sick the whole time we lived there.We had mold growing in vents and window seals and other places too. It was nasty when we moved in dishwasher wasn’t fastened down etc. My husband wrote a not so nice review which got what I think was the owner to call us and tell us more lies. He said if we wanted to move we could without any penalties. Wrong he Lied we both have a 2284.00 dollar report on our credit. You can’t believe anything they say. And the manager she is a joke and the Rudest person I have Ever met.If I could give this place a minus zero I sure would. My advice to anyone thanking about moving here is to Run Run Run!!!!!!!! Don’t waste your time and money here.I have pictures and videos to prove everything I’m saying here. And I’m going to have my attorney contact them very soon.Please Run Run Run!!!!!!!!!

Manager is disrespectful and doesn't know how to do her job. She has no people skills and her attitude is always constant and unnecessary. She lies and makes bs excuses. Doesn't fix anything and acts like she's the queen of the world. I'd give negative if possible. Worst place ever

I would have gave a lower rating if it would have let me. Been living here for close to 3 months Roof leaks they say it is because gutters are full Regardless water comes out of smoke detector, Air vent, an fills our light fixture up every time it rains. Maintenance came an empty the globe over The light an said when it drys out put this new bulb in . They came a sprayed the visible(( MOLD )) But it is in wall an ceiling we stay sick an can’t get better ((+ No FURNACE )) they did bring space heater ,dishwasher Not fastened it falls forward when it is opened . Don’t need a eviction on or record is why we have paid the past 2 month . But are looking for a good Lawyer now can’t stay here any more we have pictures an videos. To prove it all

Ms. Renae, the current Manager and I have a v friendly and mutual respect for each other. Ms. Renae has always been available to discuss and resolve any issues that I may have with the apartment in a timely manner. She strives to ensure that residents have a clean, liveable and safe environment to live in.

The property is not managed at all onsite or at the corporate office. I relocated from Chicago. I actually completed the process over the phone. I arrived to a dirty uncleaned apartment infested with roaches. 5 months later, I still have them. The pictures they advertise is not exactly what you get. The refrigerator was dirty, the stove was broken, the air conditioner unit was not connected and screen for the patio door. I was told they do not have any stove or screens for the door. The so called laundry room is closed as well. The manage did not mention that during the sale pitch. This is the worst experience I ever had. You hear nothing from management after you pay your rent & get your keys to disaster. By the way, the trash dumpster is in the parking lot, always overloaded and on the ground.

They wont fix anything they havent fixed the ac since a year ago we moved in sitting at the living room at 90 degree they havent fixed out kitchen light simce a month now we have been cooking in the dark with only two functioning stove burners ??

Our lease expires in three months, and we can hardly wait. Please be warned, there are serious issues at this complex. It’s July, and our AC has been out since April. Even with the window unit we purchased, temperatures indoors have been in the high 80s. It took us about a month to get the office/maintenance staff to take a look at the AC. Since then they’ve been “trying to get approval” to purchase and install a new unit. In addition to this, the grass goes weeks without being mowed, the dumpster overflows regularly, and electrical issues aren’t addressed, resulting in a lack of adequate lighting around the buildings. It’s pitch black outside our building at night, and we don’t feel safe going up and down the stairs without a flashlight. Despite all this, the rent is incredibly steep. Management has changed multiple times during our residency, and they’ve become increasingly unresponsive. If you’re looking for a good place to live, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.

Great place to live. Everyone is nice and Maintenance stays on work orders and keeps the grounds clean.

I have lived at this property for a year and it's garbage. All they care about is collecting your rent money and they do nothing for the upkeep of your apartment. So if you like to live in a moldy, roach infested apartment then this is the place to be. The a/c nor the heat works when you need it. Every kitchen appliance that the apartment has is broken and they won't fix it or replace it. I don't have a working refrigerator neither. My whole building is filled with tenants that do drugs in the breezeway and in front of the building and the leasing office does nothing once they're actually in the office to receive a maintenance request or disturbance complaint. Don't live here unless you want to be ripped off and live in a apartment that's not fit for a dog let alone a human being.

I am not sure what has happened to this apartment complex—it used to be pretty and the managers used to do a great job with the upkeep. Now, however, it is almost impossible to get ahold of the managing staff, and maintenance requests remain unresolved. For instance, the outside lights for some buildings do not work, which is not always that big of a deal, EXCEPT for the residents living in the “basement” apartments; I have to use my phone’s flashlight to walk down the stairs to get to my apartment. Overall, the lack of service and lack of upkeep is unacceptable. Move somewhere else.

Plz do your research before even driving here to check it out this is the worst place I’ve ever lived unfortunately the people at the front office lied to me and each year they replace the person at the front desk and the new one thinks she can have an attitude towards the people that live there she has had three notes placed on my door for renovation and I took those days off and no body came so I went to the front office to say something about it and she got an attitude telling me she has no control over the people the property hires and the people who are doing renovations don’t have business vehicle it looks like they hired there friends to come in peoples home and it seems like they don’t want you to be there when they do it

Worst office staff imaginable. They leave early practically EVERY DAY! Maintenance requests and often not completed on time/ at all. The rent is too effing high for what these apartments are! You will have roaches, ants, etc parking is terrible, the pool is never clean, trash cans are always overflowing, you get the idea. There have been three different corporate ownership changes while I've been here and Legacy has been by far the worst. If you're looking to be "Close to everything" there are options for you other than this place. Safe yourself the trouble and money and look elsewhere. Ps I wish I couldn't even give them one star.

IVE BEEN LIVING HERE FOR ABOUT A WEEK AND ALREADY NOT HAPPY ABOUT MY DECISION. MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CONTACT YOU BACK, I CAN HEAR EVERYTHING GOING ON OUTSIDE OF MY APARTMENT, AND THERE ARE FEW LITTLE CRITTERS (ROACHES) WHO HAVE DECIDED TO VISIT MY CLEAN HOME :( DISGUSTING AND VERY UPSETTTING

My husband and I have lived here for just about a year and we are definitely renewing our lease. Management is quick to respond to any issues we've had (there have not been many) and is always a pleasure to deal with. The landscaping is very well kept up with and the apartments are maintained very well. We would recommend this property to anyone.

I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND HAVE FOUND THE NEW MANAGEMENT TO BE VERY HELPFUL WITH ALL MY ISSUES. THE PROPERTY IS WELL KEPT AND THE LOCATION IS GREAT! I WOULD AND HAVE RECOMMENDED AUDUBON TO FRIENDS:)

We've lived here for 2 years and we're moving! Every year they go up on your rent, $50 !! No amenities to cover the cost. I can move to a nicer and bigger apartment for what they want now. - Car wash? More like a hose ran from the side of the building. - Got bugs? Ants will be your best friend. Nothing works!! - Dog Feces bc neighbors just let their dog out without them. - Cops are out a lot. - Loud neighbors. (You can even hear dogs bark upstairs) Look for something else... Don't move here!

Management is nice to you when you move in and that's as far as it goes. Like previous stated cops are always out here and not a true car wash!!! You aren't getting anything for what it cost to live here. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything above under and beside you!!!

Cops are out alot due to neighbors. Neighbors are loud. Even fter queit time at 10pm. No one picks up their dog feeces. Se ms like every apt has ants, and the exterminator sprays never works. Office does nothing with complaints, so don't even bother. It says cr wash... But a hose hooked to the building doesn't count. Work out area is the size of a closet. Scenery plants are dying too. I've never lived in Apts until now... And I CANT wait to move.
