Garner/Fuquay Varina is a suburban area just south of the state’s capital city. Several major roads intersect in town making it great for commuters, and large shopping centers, peaceful neighborhoods, and sprawling golf courses make the area great for families as well. Renters will find that the neighborhood has many choices of apartments, houses, and townhomes. Luxury mid-rise apartment buildings to two-story houses can all be found in the area.
White Oak Crossing, a shopping mall equipped with stores and a variety of eateries, is conveniently located off the Interstate 40 and Highway 70 junction. Parks like Garner Recreation Park and the parks and trails around Lake Benson provide outdoor activities. Residents can also travel a short distance north to get to highly rated restaurants and shops found in Downtown Raleigh.

Property Ratings at Legacy 2000
I’d avoid this place at all costs, lived here for a year and can definitely say that anywhere else is better for only $100 more a month.
No assigned parking and some people park like jerks, built in the 70s(?) and clearly not renovated since, our one toilet is mostly broken so only one bathroom works, flooded downstairs during every storm, calls for maintenance are outsourced to the management company so it’s not easy, neighborhood is iffy, school traffic sucks, parking sucks for visitors, pool always closed, dog park is a swamp. GREAT for a first place though, app is very convenient, lots of space, more wiggle room when it comes to repainting when moving out, very thick walls (except the bathroom, you can hear everything through those walls), and relatively cheap. Also great for pets! I don’t recommend it if you’re looking to live here forever, but it’s fantastic for first time renters.
I'm a recently graduated college student that was looking for a place to live with my friends. I found the general search for an apartment to be tiring until I found this place. It was such a great match! My friends and I absolutely love the layout and design of our new apartment! The staff there were very helpful, as it was all of our first experiences getting an apartment. I would highly recommend!

I don’t think there’s a better value in this area. Everything was brand new when I came in and I couldn’t believe how clean everything was. Management serviced us like family and provided a safe and comfortable home for mine. My family and I were thrilled to call this our home and I couldn’t recommend it enough.
