The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Layton Grove
DO NOT MOVE HERE! I wouldn’t recommend moving here even if you were homeless. And I say that in all seriousness. The building is INFESTED with rodents. They are literally everywhere! I complained for 2 weeks straight before finally receiving a response and getting someone out there to look into it. I have two small children and by then my toddler had found one huge one dead in our lower cabinet! Found two more under the kitchen sink, eating through everything! Maintenance finally came and only left a bock box behind the oven. They refused to get Orkin out to rid the building of them. So even if they did settle the issue in one apartment all they did was push them to the next apartment. Still all over the building. I inquired to the neighbors about this issue to see if they were experiencing the same, they were experiencing that and MORE. They had been complaining of a roach infestation apparently and hadn’t gotten help from management about it either for months. They moved out early even though the landlords weren’t willing to let them out of their lease. I requested an early move out given the severity of the rodent problem and out of fear roaches would come to my unit next, and they denied it saying they were working to fix the issue and I needed to be patient. The living circumstances were INHUMANE. Neighbors propping the door to the building open at all times of the night. Strangers coming in and out all night every night. Place reeked of marijuana and cigarettes. Visitors always parking in my assigned parking spot. I complained and nobody’s car was towed despite my constant complaints to management. So my kids and I would have to park on the street and walk in the dark to our building. Metropolitan management is rude on the phone and if you complain or call more than they like, they will stop answering the phone and getting back to you altogether. They will not discount you even with all the inconveniences the property gives and will still expect their rent in full. It’s all they care about. Nothing you complain about will ever get fixed. Count it as a loss or pay out of your own pocket. I have no idea given all the complaints this place had gotten from MULTIPLE tenants, how they are still open and renting. I pray this place gets shut down! NEVER rent here. I can’t emphasize this enough.
I just want to start out saying that the people here are not what you would expect. There is screaming and yelling outside around 2am nightly. The police are always there due to issues and to top it all off, I had my car recently stolen out of the parking lot. Definitely not worth the money for a 600sq apartment. You can find cheaper in a nicer part of town. Again, I can’t stress enough how the people are here. Seems like on the street before you pull in, there are always drug deals. It is a shame. I used to live here years ago and just moved back. Definitely not what it used to be. Again for the price you’re risking a lot of things. They really need to get their pricing in check.
Be weary before moving here !!! They have a rodent issue!! I am finding mice in my kitchen, living room, and even dead ones within the hallway and parking structure!! It has been weeks since I contacted someone about this issue and no one has come in to address the matter within my home. Other residents complained that they are having the same issue. Please be aware before moving here!!!
Overall love living here very conveniently located in terms of easy quick access to shopping, grocery stores, a movie theater, gas stations, the gym, mall, and numerous parks. Overall pretty quiet environment and attentive staff, relaxing setting for walking especially at night, maintenance is prompt and fast in their work, garbage disposal diligently taken care of. Rent is reasonable. The only things I don't care for is I wish there was more visitor parking available sometimes I wonder if residents are parking there when they should not be. My stove is old and outdated but surprisingly works. Some things in my aprtment seem old would be nice if they updated a little more. Some of the residents drive way too fast in the parking lot so I always have to be extra careful especially when going around corners. The company that handles the washer and dryer units needs to be more dikigent in emptying the coins. The dryer hasn't worked well since I've been here but thankfully there is a nicely priced laundry mat close by with great customer service. Not a fan of the rent hike with lease extensions but that is probably everywhere overall very nice place to live.
Beware of this apartment community since there has been a recurring problem with bedbug infestation.
This apartments are awsome and beautiful. Will definetly reffer others to this amazing apartments!
close to downtown. Not to pricey. A lot of restaurants and shopping locations within a few miles.
