Soak up the idyllic atmosphere in East End, a beautiful neighborhood known for the fairytale-style cottages and beautiful historic homes that peek out from tall shade trees. You may feel away from it all, but East End is an urban neighborhood on the east side of Downtown Boise. Adjacent to the neighborhood just across the Boise River, Boise State University provides opportunities for students as well as college sports fans -- cheer on the Boise State Broncos football team at Albertsons Stadium.
To live near the university, look for your East End apartment along East Park Boulevard. To live closer to downtown, look along South Broadway Avenue, Avenue B, or Reserve Street. If you enjoy spending time surrounded by beauty, try looking near the Idaho Botanical Garden. This large park features several events, including a Fall Harvest Festival.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Laurel Park
Don’t move here. Great location but literally the worst. Property management is negligent and after my roommate (which they refused to remove from the lease) was arrested for molesting my niece and I couldn’t come up with his share of rent last minute they refused to work with Jesse Tree. On the plus side they do have an incredible pool. You’ll get to think about how nice it would be if it were open. Unfortunately they like doing this fun thing where they “repair” it all summer. Also be aware they love to sneak nonrefundable “deposits” in. Be sure to ask if you’re getting it back before you pay anything. The clubhouse is absolutely not worth the $200 fee they’ll charge you to use it. They didn’t even unlock the door when I reserved it. And then kept the money. I don’t know about the other buildings, but ours has rusty pipes. When I realized the water was actually brown I decided to install filters on all of the taps. Took the tap thingies off and they were filled with either corroded pipe pieces or pebbles. Based on the rust color I’m guessing pipe.
The old buildings always need their broken doors open 24/7 or they will overheat from lack of air flow. Enjoy the bugs, spiders, and animal trackings that enter through cracks on your non fitting door and broken window screens. But don't worry they have a pool open for 2 months. But make sure to utilize it the first weeks cause they only clean it once before leaving green mold afloat on top. Any concerns or complaints? No worries. You can try calling but they never answer. You also can't leave a message due to constant full voicemailbox. You can hope a note goes through a tiny mail slot and pray they get back to you in a few weeks though. On the bright side, they recently added new washing machines! But you have to download an app with $10 minimum deposits for timed incriments set at the lowest time amount. After washing your clothes that are now filled with other tenants pets hair. Put them in the dryer that requires you to pay AN EXTRA $1.50 for an additional 10 minutes of drying each load. It's preset to not dry them completely, so you pay $4.50 more for an extra 30 min for each individual load. If a close neighbor smokes week you get the free aroma because of how hot and thin the walls are. Grab these gems of apartments real quick, because they increase rent each year by possible hundreds

This place was nice when I first moved in. Rent was fair and free cable. Every year the rent goes up no more free cable and now they want us to start paying for a portion of the water. This is the fourth year in a row that they have raised rent. I'm looking for a new place to live as we speak
